Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver an exceptional, personalised client experience that reflects Chanel’s luxury standards; cultivate long-term client relationships and clienteling.
  • Provide expert consultations on fragrance and skincare, advising clients on product selection and regimen recommendations to drive conversion and basket value.
  • Achieve and contribute to sales targets and KPIs through active selling, product demonstrations and follow-up.
  • Maintain visual merchandising and brand presentation standards on the sales floor, including stock rotation and display upkeep in line with Chanel and Flannels guidelines.
  • Operate the point-of-sale system accurately, manage transactions, returns and gift-wrap services while ensuring compliance with cash-handling procedures.
  • Support inventory management activities: receive deliveries, perform stock checks, replenish floor stock and report discrepancies.
  • Participate in product training, team meetings and promotional activity roll-outs to remain current with product launches and brand initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Previous retail experience in beauty and/or fragrance; prior exposure to luxury or premium brands preferred.
  • Demonstrable sales aptitude with a track record of achieving targets or KPIs in a retail environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and consultative selling skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly and handle discerning clientele.
  • Flexible availability including weekends and peak retail periods; ability to work part-time hours consistent with store scheduling.
  • Right to work in the UK and professional presentation consistent with brand expectations.

Experience

Typically requires at least one year of frontline retail experience in beauty or fragrance, with luxury retail experience strongly preferred.
