Operation SOC Architect
Chanel — Neuilly‑sur‑Seine: Operation SOC Architect role to design and lead SOC architecture, detection engineering and incident response.

Role & Responsibilities
- Define, design and evolve the enterprise SOC architecture to support detection, investigation and response across cloud and on‑premise environments.
- Lead integration and deployment of telemetry ingestion, SIEM and SOAR platforms, threat intelligence feeds and log management solutions.
- Develop and maintain detection engineering, incident response playbooks and operational runbooks aligned with threat models and business risk.
- Drive automation and orchestration of repetitive workflows to reduce time‑to‑detect and time‑to‑remediate; establish measurable KPIs and dashboards for SOC performance.
- Collaborate with security, IT operations, cloud, application and business teams to embed monitoring and secure design patterns across projects.
- Evaluate vendors and proof‑of‑concepts, manage solution roadmaps and provide technical leadership for platform upgrades and migrations.
- Coach and mentor SOC engineers and incident responders; establish standards for alerts, triage, escalation and post‑incident reviews.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Cybersecurity or equivalent technical discipline; advanced degree preferred.
- Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, GCIA, GCIH or equivalent are highly desirable.
- Deep understanding of security operations principles, detection engineering and incident response methodologies.
- Proven ability to translate business risk into technical requirements and to lead cross‑functional technical projects.
Skills
Experience
Significant cybersecurity experience with a minimum of 7–10 years in information security and at least 3–5 years designing, implementing or leading Security Operations Centers or equivalent security monitoring functions.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Cybersecurity or a closely related field; a master’s degree or equivalent professional certifications preferred.
