Merchandising Executive
Chanel in Taipei City seeks a Merchandising Executive to drive assortment, inventory and sales performance for the luxury fashion business.

Role & Responsibilities
- Develop and execute assortment and range architecture for assigned categories, ensuring alignment with global product strategy and seasonal goals.
- Construct SKU-level seasonal plans including pricing, margin targets and promotional strategy to maximise full-price sell-through.
- Produce regular sell-through, inventory and allocation reports; analyse KPIs to identify opportunities and risks.
- Forecast demand and manage replenishment and allocation to optimise inventory levels and minimise markdown exposure.
- Coordinate cross-functionally with buying, planning, visual merchandising, CRM and store teams to align launches, displays and customer proposition.
- Maintain accurate product and lifecycle data within PLM/merchandising systems and ensure timely product set-up for selling channels.
- Manage exceptions with suppliers and logistics partners to resolve delivery, quality or assortment issues.
- Implement initiatives to improve sell-through, conversion and stock efficiency at store and channel level.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Fashion Merchandising, Marketing or related discipline.
- 2–4 years of merchandising, range planning or allocation experience in luxury or premium fashion/retail.
- Strong commercial acumen with proven ability to influence assortment and inventory outcomes.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills; experience with PLM, ERP or retail analytics systems preferred.
- Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail and comfort working with large SKU data sets.
- Effective communicator with proven stakeholder management across buying, stores and operations.
- Sensitivity to luxury brand positioning and visual/aesthetic standards.
- Proficiency in Mandarin and English is preferred for this location.

Minimum 2–4 years of hands-on merchandising or planning experience within luxury or premium fashion, with demonstrable impact on assortment, inventory control and sell-through performance.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Fashion Merchandising, Marketing or equivalent.
