Chanel in Paris seeks a Media Strategy Assistant (Apprenticeship) starting Sept 2026 to support media planning, campaign execution and performance analysis.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Support the development and execution of media strategies across fashion and related product lines, including digital, social, print, OOH and broadcast channels.
  • Collaborate with media agencies to brief, implement and monitor campaigns; ensure adherence to timelines and brand guidelines.
  • Collect, consolidate and analyse campaign performance data to produce actionable reports and post-campaign insights for stakeholders.
  • Assist with budget tracking, media buying follow-ups and basic reconciliations in coordination with finance and procurement.
  • Prepare clear, client-ready presentations and internal documents to communicate strategy, results and recommendations.
  • Conduct market and competitive monitoring to inform media tactics and identify emerging platform opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s programme in Marketing, Communications, Media, Advertising or a related discipline and eligible for an alternance/apprenticeship contract.
  • Strong analytical aptitude with the ability to interpret campaign KPIs and translate data into concise recommendations.
  • Excellent written and spoken French; good command of English for cross‑functional collaboration (inferred requirement for a Paris-based media role).
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Interest in fashion and luxury brand positioning, with curiosity about media innovation and digital ecosystems.

Experience

Previous internship or coursework exposure in media, advertising, digital marketing or agency environments is desirable; 0–2 years of relevant practical experience is typical for an apprenticeship.

Currently enrolled in a relevant undergraduate or postgraduate programme (Marketing, Communications, Media, Advertising, Business) and eligible for alternance/apprenticeship.
