Role & Responsibilities

  • Design, implement and govern comprehensive curriculum and learning pathways that support Chanel’s fashion initiatives, client engagement and retail excellence across North America.
  • Develop high-impact content and experiential programmes for internal audiences (retail teams, sales, product specialists) and selected external stakeholders, ensuring alignment with brand heritage and seasonal collections.
  • Lead cross-functional projects with merchandising, creative, events and marketing to integrate educational elements into product launches, client events and boutique activations.
  • Manage programme delivery end-to-end, including instructional design, selection and development of trainers, logistics for in-person and digital sessions, and adherence to budget and timelines.
  • Define metrics, evaluate programme effectiveness, iterate on curriculum using qualitative and quantitative feedback, and produce stakeholder reports to demonstrate ROI.
  • Coordinate with regional and global learning teams to ensure consistency of standards, translate global frameworks into locally relevant content, and scale best practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Fashion, Education, Retail Management, or related field; advanced degree or professional credential in learning & development preferred.
  • Proven track record (typical expectation: 5+ years) managing learning, curriculum or engagement programmes within luxury fashion, premium retail, or cultural institutions.
  • Deep knowledge of fashion history, product categories and client service expectations in a luxury environment.
  • Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional stakeholders and external partners (agencies, subject-matter experts, trainers).
  • Strong analytical aptitude with experience defining KPIs and measuring programme impact.

Experience

Five or more years of progressive responsibility in learning & development, curriculum management or client engagement within luxury fashion, premium retail or cultural programming, including hands-on delivery of training and large-scale event or programme management.

Education

Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s or postgraduate credential in education, learning design, fashion management or a related discipline preferred.
