Chanel — Paris — Management Control Intern starting Sept 2026: internship in budgeting, reporting and variance analysis.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Support monthly closing activities and preparation of management reporting packages for business stakeholders.
  • Prepare variance analyses between actuals, budgets and forecasts, and highlight key drivers for management review.
  • Consolidate financial data across business units and ensure accuracy and reconciliation of underlying schedules.
  • Contribute to budgeting and rolling-forecast processes, including data collection, assumptions testing and scenario analysis.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and KPI trackers to monitor business performance and support decision-making.
  • Deliver ad hoc financial analyses and presentations for cross‑functional teams and senior management.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree programme in Finance, Accounting, Management or a closely related discipline.
  • Availability to start in September 2026 for an internship placement in Paris.
  • Excellent numerical aptitude, attention to detail and capacity for rigorous data validation.
  • Strong organisational skills, proactivity and the ability to work collaboratively with operational teams.
  • Prior internship experience in finance, controlling or FP&A is an advantage.

Experience
