Overview

Role & Responsibilities
- Support month‑end and closing activities for the France market, including preparation and reconciliation of management reports and KPIs.
- Prepare and analyse P&L movements, variances versus budget and forecast; propose explanatory notes and corrective actions.
- Contribute to budgeting and forecasting cycles, consolidating inputs from commercial and operational stakeholders.
- Maintain and improve management reporting pack (dashboards, scorecards) for local leadership.
- Assist with ad‑hoc financial analyses and business partnering requests from merchandising, sales and operations teams.
- Ensure data integrity across transactional systems and reporting tools; perform data extraction, cleansing and validation.
- Support preparation of presentations and materials for meetings with France market management and corporate finance.
- Contribute to process documentation and small process‑improvement initiatives to streamline control procedures.
Qualifications
- Eligible for alternance (work‑study) intake September 2026 and enrolled in a Bachelor’s/Master’s programme in Finance, Management Control, Accounting or equivalent business school curriculum.
- Strong analytical rigor with a methodical approach to reconciliations and variance analysis.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; confident producing clear presentations for senior stakeholders.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial data handling.
- Ability to work collaboratively across commercial and finance functions while managing competing priorities.
- Professional proficiency in French; working knowledge of English is advantageous.
Skills
Experience
No extensive professional experience required; previous internships or short assignments in finance, controlling or accounting are highly desirable.
Education
Enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s programme in Finance, Accounting, Management Control or Business School, eligible for alternance (work‑study) starting September 2026.
