Chanel is hiring a Makeup Artist in Paris (Galeries Lafayette Haussmann) — permanent role delivering luxury beauty services and client consultations.

Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver bespoke make‑up consultations and professional application services for clients in a high‑end department store environment (Galeries Lafayette Haussmann).
- Recommend and sell Chanel beauty products to achieve individual and boutique sales targets, converting consultations into purchases.
- Manage client appointments and build long‑term relationships through personalised follow‑up and clienteling activities.
- Maintain merchandising standards, stock presentation and replenishment in line with Chanel visual guidelines.
- Ensure strict adherence to hygiene, sanitation and safety protocols for all treatments and product demonstrations.
- Stay current with product launches, brand training and technical masterclasses; represent the brand at in‑store events and launches.
- Collaborate with store management, merchandising and broader boutique teams to optimise customer experience and boutique performance.
- Record sales and client data accurately in the store CRM/POS and comply with administrative procedures.
Qualifications
- Professional qualification in cosmetology, makeup artistry, or equivalent vocational training.
- Demonstrable knowledge of luxury cosmetics, skin care and make‑up application techniques.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong aptitude for client advisory and relationship building.
- Fluent verbal communication skills appropriate for a luxury retail environment.
- Ability to work retail hours including evenings, weekends and peak promotional periods.
Skills
Experience
Minimum 2 years of professional experience as a makeup artist or beauty advisor in luxury retail, department store concessions, or high‑end boutique environments, with a proven track record of client acquisition and sales performance.
Education
Vocational diploma or professional certification in cosmetology, beauty therapy, or makeup artistry (or equivalent professional experience).
