Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalised makeup services and consultations to a discerning luxury clientele, adhering to Chanel’s look and brand standards.
- Advise clients on skincare and product selection, converting consultations into sales while achieving individual and boutique targets.
- Maintain an immaculate professional kit and backstage trolley; ensure strict hygiene, sanitation and product rotation protocols.
- Support boutique merchandising and visual standards; assist with product displays, stock replenishment and inventory controls.
- Record client preferences and treatment history in the CRM to cultivate long-term relationships and repeat business.
- Represent the brand at in-store events, masterclasses and exclusive client appointments as required.
Qualifications
- Professional qualification or diploma in makeup artistry, cosmetology or an accredited beauty programme preferred; substantial professional experience accepted in lieu.
- Right to work in the UK and flexibility to work retail hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Strong retail orientation with proven ability to meet sales targets and convert consultations into purchases.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a polished, client-focused demeanour appropriate to a luxury environment.
Skills
Experience
Typically 2+ years’ experience as a makeup artist in a retail or luxury setting, with demonstrated success in client consultations, make-up services and meeting sales targets. Experience representing premium beauty brands and working events is an advantage.
Education
Vocational qualification in makeup artistry, cosmetology, or equivalent professional training; formal beauty certification preferred.
