Role & Responsibilities

• Deliver bespoke makeup services and consultations in a luxury retail setting, tailoring looks to individual clients and occasions.
• Recommend and sell Chanel beauty products to achieve and exceed individual and boutique sales targets, with expert product knowledge.
• Maintain a pristine, inviting makeup station and ensure strict adherence to hygiene, sanitation and product safety protocols.
• Support in-store merchandising and product replenishment; assist with inventory control and stock rotation for the beauty counter.
• Contribute to clienteling activities: build and maintain a client book, follow up on appointments, and manage bookings for makeovers and events.
• Represent the brand at in-store events, launches and occasional off-site activations, and collaborate with retail and marketing teams as required.
• Participate in training sessions to keep current with Chanel product launches, application techniques and service standards.

Qualifications

• Professional diploma or certification in makeup artistry, cosmetology or an equivalent credential preferred.
• Demonstrable retail sales experience within luxury cosmetics or beauty services; proven ability to meet sales targets.
• Strong interpersonal skills with polished client-facing demeanour and high standards of discretion.
• Up-to-date knowledge of beauty trends, make-up application techniques and skin care fundamentals.
• Flexibility to work retail hours including evenings and weekends; eligibility to work in Hong Kong.

Skills

Experience

Typically 2+ years of professional makeup artistry experience, with at least one year in a luxury cosmetics retail or salon environment preferred. Demonstrated track record of individual sales performance and client development is expected.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent; professional qualification in makeup artistry, cosmetology or an accredited beauty programme preferred.
