Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver personalised skincare and makeup consultations and application services aligned with Chanel’s product standards and brand image.
  • Build and nurture long‑term client relationships through proactive clienteling, CRM updates and aftercare recommendations to drive repeat business and client loyalty.
  • Achieve and exceed individual and store sales targets while maximising sell‑through of key product launches and seasonal promotions.
  • Maintain exemplary visual merchandising, product presentation and boutique cleanliness to ensure a luxury in‑store experience.
  • Operate point‑of‑sale systems, manage stock movements and assist with inventory control and merchandising replenishment.
  • Stay continuously informed about Chanel product ranges, ingredients, trends and competitor activity; participate in product training sessions and brand initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with brand guidelines, regulatory hygiene standards and loss‑prevention procedures.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in cosmetics retail, beauty consultancy or as a professional makeup artist — ideally within a luxury brand environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to adapt tone and approach to high‑net‑worth clientele.
  • Strong commercial acumen with a demonstrable track record of meeting sales targets.
  • Professional presentation and commitment to the standards of a luxury retail environment.
  • Availability to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays, as required by boutique operations.

Experience

Typically 1–3 years of direct experience in cosmetics retail or as a professional makeup artist; experience within a luxury or prestige brand is preferred.
