Makeup & Skincare Advisor (Apprenticeship)
Chanel seeks a Beauty Advisor (Apprenticeship) for its Paris Beaugrenelle boutique — alternance starting Sept 2026. Client-facing beauty role in Paris.

Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver distinguished, personalised client service and build long-term client relationships through proactive clienteling and follow-up.
- Perform makeup application, skincare analysis and product demonstrations to educate and convert clients.
- Achieve individual and boutique sales targets while contributing to overall store performance.
- Maintain boutique standards of presentation, merchandising and stock management in line with Chanel visual directives.
- Operate point-of-sale systems, manage transactions and support daily administrative tasks.
- Participate in product launches, in-store events and mandatory training sessions as part of the alternance programme.
Qualifications
- Eligible for an alternance (apprenticeship) contract and enrolled in an accredited vocational or higher education programme in cosmetics, beauty, retail or a related discipline.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a service-oriented demeanour and high standards of professional grooming.
- Availability to work retail hours including weekends and evenings.
- Fluent French strongly preferred for client-facing duties.
Skills
Experience
Entry-level position; previous retail or beauty experience is advantageous but not mandatory. Demonstrable customer-facing experience will be considered a plus.
Education
Enrolment in a recognised vocational or higher education programme (BTS, vocational diploma or equivalent) in cosmetics, beauty, retail or a related field as required for an alternance contract.
