Chanel seeks a Make Up Specialist in Putrajaya to deliver luxury beauty consultations and drive prestige cosmetics sales.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver personalised makeup consultations and professional in-store applications that reflect Chanel’s standards of technique, finish and client experience.
  • Provide expert product recommendations and demonstrations to drive prestige beauty sales and increase client lifetime value.
  • Achieve individual and store sales targets through proactive clienteling, appointments and follow-up communications.
  • Maintain immaculate presentation of the beauty area and displays, implementing visual merchandising directives and rotation of testers and stock.
  • Adhere to hygiene, sanitation and health & safety protocols for all tools, products and service areas.
  • Support inventory control: receive deliveries, conduct stock counts, manage expiry and communicate replenishment needs.
  • Deliver brand education to clients and collaborate with store colleagues on promotional and merchandising initiatives.
  • Record client preferences and service notes accurately in the CRM or POS to support personalised service and retention.

Qualifications

  • Vocational qualification or diploma in makeup artistry, cosmetology or a related discipline.
  • Professional certification or demonstrable portfolio of makeup work (editorial, bridal or commercial applications).
  • Legal right to work in Malaysia.
  • Impeccable personal presentation and grooming consistent with a luxury beauty environment.

Experience

Minimum 2 years' experience in luxury cosmetics, prestige beauty retail or as a professional makeup artist; experience working for a luxury maison or premium beauty brand is advantageous.

Education

Diploma or certificate in Makeup Artistry, Cosmetology or equivalent vocational training.
