Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver professional in‑store makeup services and personalised consultations to a discerning clientele at the Printemps Haussmann location.
- Drive retail sales through product recommendations, look creation, and follow‑up clienteling to build long‑term client relationships.
- Maintain expert product knowledge across makeup and skincare lines and translate technical information into elegant client advice.
- Ensure impeccable hygiene, sanitation and presentation standards for tools, treatment areas and product displays.
- Manage appointments, client records and aftercare recommendations; support digital booking and CRM processes as required.
- Contribute to visual merchandising, stock replenishment and boutique readiness to reflect the Chanel brand aesthetic.
- Participate in brand training, seasonal launches, promotional events and masterclasses; represent Chanel at in‑store activations.
Qualifications
- Professional certification or diploma in makeup artistry, cosmetology, or equivalent vocational training.
- Proven ability to advise and sell within a luxury retail or beauty environment; client‑focused demeanour.
- Fluent interpersonal skills with polished presentation and exceptional customer service.
- Strong knowledge of skin types, color theory and contemporary makeup techniques.
- Availability to work retail hours, including evenings and weekends, and to travel between events as required.
Skills
Experience
Typically 2+ years of professional experience as a makeup artist or beauty consultant, ideally within luxury beauty or prestige retail environments.
Education
Cosmetology or professional makeup artistry certification; formal vocational training preferred.
