Chanel is hiring a Brand Ambassador in Mexico City — represent the maison, build client relationships and drive luxury sales.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Act as the public face of the brand in Mexico City, delivering exemplary client-facing service across boutique, client events and off-site activations.
  • Develop and maintain a curated client portfolio through proactive clienteling, follow-up, and personalised service to drive repeat business and lifetime value.
  • Achieve and exceed individual and boutique sales targets and KPIs through consultative selling and relationship building.
  • Provide authoritative product knowledge across categories (fragrance, beauty, accessories, ready-to-wear) and advise clients on styling, gifting and bespoke requests.
  • Collaborate with boutique leadership and regional teams on client outreach, sampling programs, private appointments and local events.
  • Support visual merchandising standards and boutique presentation to ensure alignment with brand guidelines.
  • Accurately record client interactions and sales activity in the CRM and produce regular reports for the boutique manager.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record in luxury retail, clienteling or brand representation; demonstrable success meeting sales targets.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with a polished, client-centric manner and high emotional intelligence.
  • Strong product literacy and the ability to convey technical and stylistic information with authority.
  • Professional presentation and uncompromising attention to detail consistent with luxury brand standards.
  • Availability to work retail hours including evenings, weekends and event-driven schedules.

Experience

Typically 3+ years of progressive experience in luxury retail, brand representation or high-end hospitality with a demonstrable record of building and retaining a discerning client base.

Education

High school diploma required; tertiary qualification in business, hospitality, fashion or a related discipline preferred.
