Role & Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect and record incoming shipments in accordance with Chanel's quality and security standards.
  • Manage stock put-away, internal transfers and accurate inventory tracking to maintain tight stock control.
  • Prepare, pick and pack outbound orders for boutiques and wholesale clients, ensuring presentation and documentation meet luxury brand requirements.
  • Operate warehouse equipment safely and perform routine maintenance of storage areas to optimize logistics flows.
  • Maintain accurate records and shipping documentation; update the warehouse management system and liaise with the central supply chain team.
  • Process returns and exchanges, perform quarantine and quality checks as required.
  • Coordinate with transport providers and customs where necessary to ensure timely dispatch and delivery.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce discrepancies and uphold compliance with health and safety protocols.

Qualifications

  • Fluent spoken and written French; professional working knowledge of English preferred.
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse or logistics environment with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Good numeracy and organisational skills; ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain accurate records.
  • Physical capability to handle merchandise and sustain periods of standing, lifting and walking.
  • Valid forklift certificate or equivalent is an advantage where relevant; commitment to safe equipment operation.

Experience

Typically 1–3 years of hands-on experience in warehouse, logistics or stockroom operations; experience handling luxury or high-value merchandise is strongly preferred.

Education

Secondary education certificate or vocational qualification in logistics, supply chain, warehousing or equivalent practical experience.
