Learning Assistant — Boutique Fashion (Alternance)
Chanel — Paris: Alternance Learning Assistant for the boutique fashion team at Galeries Lafayette, start September 2024.

Role & Responsibilities
- Support the boutique learning agenda for the Chanel Fashion shop at Galeries Lafayette, including onboarding, product education, and sales technique programmes.
- Prepare and update training materials, presentations and e-learning content in partnership with the Learning & Development team.
- Coordinate scheduling and logistics for in-store training sessions, workshops and coaching visits.
- Administer and maintain training records within the Learning Management System and ensure compliance with required completion tracking.
- Assist trainers with delivery of practical coaching on the shop floor and participate in assessment and feedback processes.
- Produce routine reports and basic training metrics to monitor adoption and impact of learning initiatives.
- Liaise with boutique management, retail operations and HR to ensure alignment between training activities and commercial priorities.
- Provide operational support for product launches and boutique events with training-related responsibilities.
Qualifications
- Enrolment in a higher-education programme (Bachelor’s or Master’s level) in Human Resources, Learning & Development, Business, Marketing or a related discipline.
- Available to begin the alternance in September 2024 and commit to the contractual duration required by the programme.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication; professional presentation appropriate for a luxury boutique environment.
- Proactive, service-oriented attitude with a demonstrable interest in luxury retail and client experience.
- Discretion and respect for confidentiality when handling personnel and commercial information.
Skills
Experience
Previous experience or internships in retail, hospitality, customer-facing roles or HR/learning functions is an advantage but not mandatory; demonstrable interest in luxury retail and client service is valued.
Education
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s programme in HR, Learning & Development, Business, Marketing, Communication or a related field.
