Chanel — Paris: Alternance Junior Project Assistant, CIO Office (Europe). Apprenticeship starting Sept 2026 supporting IT project coordination.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Support the CIO Office in coordinating Europe‑wide IT projects, ensuring alignment with programme timelines and deliverables.
  • Prepare, maintain and distribute project documentation: agendas, minutes, status reports, action logs and decision records.
  • Track project progress, risks and issues; escalate and follow up with stakeholders to ensure timely resolution.
  • Contribute to the preparation of executive presentations and dashboards for senior stakeholders and steering committees.
  • Organise and facilitate cross‑functional meetings, workshops and vendor interactions across multiple time zones.
  • Assist with basic budget tracking, purchase order follow‑up and administrative tasks related to project financials.
  • Support continuous improvement of PMO templates, governance and working practices within the CIO Office.

Qualifications

  • Enrolled in a higher education programme (Bachelor’s or Master’s level) in IT, Project Management, Business Administration, Engineering or equivalent and eligible for alternance/apprenticeship in France.
  • Strong organisational skills with a methodical approach to documentation and follow‑up.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to produce clear reports and presentations for senior management.
  • Comfortable working in a matrix, international environment and coordinating across multiple stakeholders.
  • High level of discretion and professional maturity when handling confidential information.

Experience

Previous internship(s) or short professional experience (6–18 months) in IT project support, PMO or consulting preferred; any experience coordinating cross‑border or multi‑stakeholder projects is an asset.

Education

Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's programme in IT, Project Management, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field; eligible for alternance/apprenticeship starting September 2026.
