Chanel in Paris seeks a Junior Customer Insight Analyst (Alternance) starting Sept 2026 — apprenticeship in customer analytics and CRM.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Support the Customer Intelligence team in the extraction, cleaning and consolidation of CRM and transactional data to feed reports and dashboards.
  • Perform customer segmentation and lifetime value analyses to inform marketing and retention strategies.
  • Produce regular KPI reporting and ad-hoc analyses on campaign performance, acquisition funnels and customer journeys.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of dashboards and visualisations using BI tools; ensure data accuracy and documentation of methodologies.
  • Collaborate with marketing, digital and sales teams to translate analytical findings into actionable recommendations and presentation materials for stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Enrolment in an accredited Bachelor's or Master's programme in Data Science, Statistics, Marketing, Business Analytics or equivalent, compatible with a French alternance/apprenticeship contract.
  • Strong analytical rigour with demonstrable coursework or project experience in quantitative methods, segmentation and A/B testing.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex analyses into clear business recommendations.
  • Professional maturity, discretion and respect for data confidentiality consistent with a luxury brand environment.

Skills

SQL Excel (advanced) Power BI Tableau Python (pandas, numpy) Google Analytics Experience with CRM or marketing automation platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Adobe Campaign)

Experience

Previous internships or project experience (6–12 months cumulative) in customer analytics, CRM, marketing analytics or a related data role is preferred. Experience within luxury retail or premium consumer brands is an advantage but not mandatory.

Education

Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's programme in Data Science, Statistics, Marketing, Business Analytics, Economics or a related discipline; eligible for alternance/apprenticeship in France.
