Chanel in Paris seeks a Jewelry Advisor to provide high‑touch client service and drive sales of fine jewellery collections.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver personalised, high‑touch client service and develop long‑term relationships with a portfolio of private clients.
  • Achieve and exceed individual and boutique sales targets through consultative selling and expert product presentation.
  • Demonstrate authoritative knowledge of high jewellery collections, gemstones and manufacturing techniques to advise clients accurately.
  • Manage clienteling activities: appointment booking, follow‑ups, client records and bespoke service requests.
  • Support visual merchandising and boutique presentation to uphold maison standards for display and product rotation.
  • Ensure compliant handling of goods, accurate POS transactions, inventory control and after‑sales care.
  • Collaborate with the boutique team and regional specialists on client events, trunk shows and VIP sales initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in luxury jewellery or high‑end watch sales, preferably within an international maison.
  • Demonstrable understanding of gemstones, precious metals and jewellery craftsmanship; gemology certification preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a track record of private client development and relationship management.
  • Impeccable discretion, professional presentation and commitment to brand standards.
  • Flexibility to work boutique hours, including evenings and weekends, and to travel for client appointments when required.

Experience

Typically 2+ years of direct sales experience in luxury jewellery or high‑end watches, with demonstrated success in private client development and meeting sales targets.

High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in jewellery, gemology or retail is advantageous (e.g., GIA or equivalent certificate preferred).
