Chanel in Paris seeks a Jewelry Advisor to deliver luxury client service, sell high jewellery, and cultivate VIP clientele.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional, discreet client service to a high-net-worth and VIP clientele, building long-term relationships and trust.
  • Provide authoritative product advice on fine and high jewellery, including gemstones, metals, craftsmanship and provenance.
  • Develop and maintain an active client portfolio through personalised outreach, appointment management and bespoke clienteling.
  • Achieve and exceed individual and boutique sales targets while maximising average transaction value via considered upselling and cross-selling.
  • Coordinate and execute private viewings, trunk shows and client events in close collaboration with boutique management.
  • Ensure impeccable presentation of merchandise through visual merchandising standards, inventory reconciliation and stock control.
  • Manage after-sales service and liaise with internal workshops for repairs, maintenance and bespoke requests, maintaining confidentiality and quality standards.

Qualifications

  • Professional experience in luxury jewellery or high-end watch retail; demonstrated success selling to private clients.
  • Strong interpersonal presence with excellent verbal communication and consultative selling skills.
  • Formal training or certification in gemology, jewellery design or a related discipline preferred.
  • Impeccable personal presentation and adherence to brand standards; ability to represent a couture maison with discretion.
  • Availability for flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by boutique operations.

Experience

Minimum three years of direct experience in luxury jewellery or premium fashion retail, preferably within a maison or boutique environment serving high-net-worth clients.
