IT & Digital Contracts Legal Intern
Chanel in Paris seeks an IT & Digital Contracts Legal Intern (Stage) to support the corporate legal team on technology agreements and data protection.

Role & Responsibilities
- Draft, review and adapt IT and digital contracts (SaaS, cloud, hosting, software development, licensing, outsourcing and maintenance agreements).
- Prepare and negotiate contractual clauses addressing liability, IP, data protection, security, SLAs and subcontracting with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
- Support the legal team on data protection matters, including Data Processing Agreements (DPAs) and GDPR compliance reviews.
- Conduct legal research, prepare internal memoranda and risk analyses to inform commercial decision‑making.
- Contribute to the maintenance and standardisation of contract templates, playbook clauses and contract repository.
- Assist with vendor due diligence, contract lifecycle tracking and ad hoc corporate legal projects.
Qualifications
- Enrolled in or recent graduate of a Master’s programme in law (Master 1/2) with a specialization or strong coursework in IT, technology or digital law.
- Excellent drafting skills and demonstrable ability to translate commercial requirements into clear contractual clauses.
- Strong academic record and prior internship experience in a law firm or in‑house legal department preferred.
- Professional proficiency in French and good command of English, both written and spoken.
- High standards of discretion, organisational rigor and ability to work across multidisciplinary teams.

Previous internship experience in a law firm or an in‑house legal team with exposure to technology, digital or commercial contracts is preferred but not mandatory.
Education
Master’s level legal studies (Master 1 or Master 2) with specialization or coursework in IT/digital law recommended.
