Role & Responsibilities

  • Execute daily stockroom operations including receiving, unpacking and accurately recording incoming merchandise.
  • Perform regular cycle counts and full inventory reconciliations; investigate and resolve stock discrepancies.
  • Maintain and update inventory records in the store's inventory management system and POS.
  • Coordinate with store management, visual merchandising and distribution to optimize stock levels and availability.
  • Implement and enforce loss-prevention procedures and stock security protocols.
  • Prepare inventory reports and KPIs for Store Manager and regional operations teams.
  • Assist with merchandise transfers, returns to warehouse and seasonal stock set-ups.
  • Ensure stockroom organization, product care and compliance with brand presentation standards.

  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • High level of discretion and professionalism when handling high-value merchandise and client information.
  • Physical ability to handle stock handling duties, including lifting and moving merchandise safely.
  • Reliable attendance and flexibility to support peak retail hours and store needs.

Experience

Typically 2+ years of inventory, stock control or logistics experience in retail, ideally within luxury fashion or premium retail environments. Proven experience with cycle counts, discrepancy investigation and store-level inventory systems is preferred.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or coursework in logistics, supply chain, business or related field preferred.
