Role & Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end inventory control for assigned stores/regions, ensuring stock accuracy and optimal on-shelf availability.
  • Design and execute cycle count programmes, reconcile discrepancies and drive corrective actions to minimise shrinkage and variances.
  • Forecast stock requirements and coordinate replenishment with merchandising, warehouse and store operations to optimise stock turns.
  • Analyse inventory KPIs (turnover, sell-through, ageing, coverage) and produce regular operational reports for regional management.
  • Implement and enforce inventory policies and physical security procedures in collaboration with loss-prevention and store teams.
  • Liaise with logistics, distribution centres and external carriers to resolve stock movement exceptions and expedite critical shipments.
  • Lead or support stock transfers, returns and end-of-season flows, ensuring data integrity within the inventory/ERP system.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, business administration or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrable experience in inventory control, stock reconciliation and retail replenishment; luxury retail experience preferred.
  • Strong analytical capability with proven experience translating inventory metrics into operational improvements.
  • Proven track record of implementing cycle counts and loss-prevention controls with measurable results.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to influence cross-functional partners (merchandise, stores, logistics).

Experience

Mid-level professional with 3–5 years of progressive experience in inventory management or retail operations; prior exposure to luxury or premium retail environments is highly desirable.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, business administration or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CPIM, CILT) are an advantage.
