Inventory Coordinator
Chanel Paris seeks an Inventory Coordinator for the Avenue Montaigne boutique (CDI). Manage stock, receptions and counts in a flagship luxury environment.

Role & Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate inventory records for the Avenue Montaigne boutique, including stock reception, storage and replenishment.
- Receive, inspect and process incoming deliveries; record discrepancies and escalate quality or quantity issues to supply chain partners.
- Conduct regular stocktakes and cycle counts; reconcile variances and implement corrective actions to preserve inventory accuracy.
- Coordinate stock movements between sales floor and stockroom and arrange inter-boutique transfers when required.
- Support loss prevention and security procedures, ensuring compliance with internal controls and boutique policies.
- Collaborate with sales, visual merchandising and store management to prioritise replenishment and optimise product availability.
- Maintain an orderly, compliant stockroom environment and ensure merchandise is stored according to brand presentation and conservation standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum secondary education; vocational training in logistics, retail or a related field is an asset.
- Proven experience in retail inventory control, preferably within luxury fashion or premium retail (1–3 years preferred).
- Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail with demonstrated ability to perform stock reconciliations.
- High degree of discretion, reliability and professional presentation appropriate for a flagship luxury boutique.
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and peak trading periods.
Skills
Experience
Preferably 1–3 years of hands-on inventory or stock control experience in retail, ideally within the luxury or premium fashion sector, with familiarity of boutique operations and high-value merchandise handling.
Education
Secondary school diploma (Baccalauréat) or equivalent; vocational training in logistics, retail or supply chain is advantageous.
