Inventory Assistant
Chanel in Seoul seeks a Stock Assistant to manage inventory, receiving and stockroom operations for its luxury retail boutique.

Role & Responsibilities
- Manage goods receipt: check deliveries against invoices, unpack, inspect for quality and process returns according to Chanel procedures.
- Operate inventory systems and RF scanners to record incoming and outgoing stock; update stock levels and reconcile discrepancies.
- Organize and maintain the stockroom to luxury retail standards, ensuring product presentation and accessibility for the sales floor.
- Replenish merchandise on the sales floor promptly and assist visual merchandising team with floor setups and seasonal resets.
- Support periodic stock counts and cycle counts; investigate variances and prepare root-cause reports for shrinkage prevention.
- Coordinate with store management and sales advisors to prioritise client requests, reservations and urgent transfers.
- Adhere to brand security, confidentiality and loss-prevention policies at all times; participate in store safety procedures.
Qualifications
- Previous retail stockroom, logistics or warehouse experience (preferably in luxury retail) is highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and numeracy; ability to maintain accurate records under pressure.
- Physical capability to handle routine lifting, carrying and movement of merchandise throughout a shift.
- Reliable, punctual and able to work within a schedule that may include weekends and peak retail periods.
- High standard of personal presentation and respect for brand confidentiality and client privacy.
Skills
Experience
Entry-level role; typically requires some prior experience (6–12 months) in retail stock or logistics. Experience in a luxury retail environment is preferred but not mandatory.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in logistics, retail or supply-chain operations is an advantage.
