International Press Coordination Assistant — Fragrance & Beauty
Chanel in Neuilly-sur-Seine seeks an International Press Coordination Assistant (Alternance) for Fragrance & Beauty, starting September 2026.

Role & Responsibilities
- Support the international press relations team for Fragrance & Beauty by coordinating requests and communications between Chanel and regional PR agencies.
- Prepare and distribute press materials and product samples, ensuring accurate labelling, tracking and timely shipment to media and influencers.
- Maintain and update press contact lists, media databases and distribution schedules.
- Monitor and compile daily/weekly press coverage reports and performance summaries for internal stakeholders.
- Assist in the production of press kits, briefing notes and translated copy for international markets.
- Coordinate logistics for press events, sampling campaigns and product launches in liaison with operations and external partners.
- Respond to routine media enquiries and coordinate follow-ups with internal teams and agencies.
- Provide general administrative support to the Press Coordination team while ensuring confidentiality and brand consistency.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a degree programme in communications, public relations, marketing, journalism or a related field (apprenticeship/alternance level).
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise multiple, time-sensitive tasks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Demonstrated interest in luxury beauty, fragrance and lifestyle communications.
- Discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive press information and high-profile contacts.
Skills
Experience
Previous internships or short-term experience in PR, communications, or within the beauty sector is desirable but not mandatory; the role is structured for a student in an alternance/apprenticeship programme.
Education
Enrolled in higher education (undergraduate or postgraduate) in communications, PR, marketing, journalism or a closely related discipline (apprenticeship/alternance track).
