Internal Auditor
Chanel seeks an Internal Auditor in Paris to execute risk‑based audits, assess controls and drive remediation across the organisation.

Role & Responsibilities
- Plan and execute risk‑based internal audits across finance, operations, retail and supply‑chain functions, including on‑site and remote fieldwork.
- Assess the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls and business processes; identify control gaps and operational risks.
- Prepare clear, evidence‑based audit reports with pragmatic recommendations and agreed remediation plans.
- Monitor and follow up on remediation actions to ensure timely closure and sustained control improvements.
- Perform data‑driven testing and analytics to identify exceptions, trends and control weaknesses.
- Support SOX/compliance testing and contribute to enterprise risk assessments and control frameworks.
- Liaise with business stakeholders and senior management to influence control enhancements and promote a control‑conscious culture.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Audit or equivalent; Master’s degree preferred.
- Professional certification preferred (CIA, CPA, ACCA or equivalent).
- Fluency in French and professional working proficiency in English.
- Strong ethical standards, discretion and the ability to handle confidential information.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the capacity to present findings to senior stakeholders.

Experience
Typically 3–6 years of progressive internal audit, external audit (Big Four) or risk/compliance experience, ideally with exposure to multi‑jurisdictional operations or the luxury goods sector.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Audit, or a related discipline; a master’s degree or equivalent professional qualification is advantageous.
