Chanel in Paris seeks an Industrialisation & Quality work‑study intern for Costume Jewelry (alternance) starting Sept 2026.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Support the industrialisation of costume jewellery from prototype to production, coordinating pilot runs and production ramp‑ups with suppliers and internal teams.
  • Prepare and maintain technical dossiers, bills of materials (BOMs), manufacturing specifications and process sheets to ensure consistent product reproducibility.
  • Implement and execute quality control plans, sample inspections and acceptance criteria (AQL); document non‑conformities and follow through corrective actions.
  • Liaise with design, sourcing, workshops and external manufacturers to ensure manufacturability, cost control and conformity to aesthetic and functional standards.
  • Monitor production timelines and perform on‑site supplier follow‑ups when required; produce regular reports and KPIs on quality and industrialisation status.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's programme in industrial engineering, materials science, jewellery manufacturing, quality management or a related discipline (alternance/work‑study contract).
  • Strong interest in jewellery production processes and materials used in costume jewellery (metals, plating, coatings, stones).
  • Methodical approach to documentation, technical specifications and quality procedures.
  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work with multidisciplinary and international teams.

Experience

Prior internships or project experience in jewellery, accessories, or fashion production preferred but not required; exposure to manufacturing environments or supplier follow‑ups is an advantage.

Education

Enrolled in a relevant Bachelor's or Master's programme (industrial engineering, materials, jewellery manufacturing, quality management or equivalent) under an alternance/work‑study arrangement.
