HSE & Continuous Improvement Intern
Chanel — Chamant: 6‑month HSE & Continuous Improvement Intern supporting safety, Lean projects and process methods.

Role & Responsibilities
- Support HSE and continuous improvement projects across the production site, contributing to process standardization and risk reduction.
- Map production processes and participate in risk assessments (FMEA/AMDEC), safety audits and incident investigations.
- Design, document and update work instructions, technical procedures and HSE protocols to ensure regulatory and internal compliance.
- Facilitate Kaizen events and implement Lean initiatives (5S, SMED, TPM) to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
- Collect, analyse and visualise operational and HSE data (KPIs) to quantify improvement opportunities and track results.
- Coordinate with production, maintenance and quality teams to pilot and validate process changes on the shop floor.
- Prepare training materials and deliver briefings or toolbox talks to operational teams under supervision.
- Contribute to the implementation of corrective and preventive actions and follow up on action plans until closure.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in an engineering school or master's program (Industrial Engineering, HSE, Environmental, Quality or equivalent).
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving ability with a methodical approach to process improvement.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills; able to work with multidisciplinary shop‑floor teams.
- Autonomy, initiative and a pragmatic orientation to piloting small projects from diagnosis to implementation.
- Right to undertake a 6‑month internship in France and availability to be on site in Chamant for the duration of the internship.

Experience
No prior professional experience is strictly required; previous internships or exposure to manufacturing, HSE, quality or continuous improvement projects is advantageous.
Education
Enrolled in an engineering or master’s program in Industrial Engineering, HSE, Environmental, Quality or a closely related discipline.
