Chanel in Florence (Firenze Osmannoro) seeks an HR Generalist Intern to support recruitment, onboarding and HR operations.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Support the full recruitment lifecycle: prepare job postings, coordinate candidate screening, schedule interviews and liaise with hiring managers.
  • Coordinate onboarding and offboarding activities, including documentation, induction logistics and welcome schedules for new hires.
  • Maintain and update personnel records and HR databases, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with applicable privacy regulations.
  • Prepare routine HR reports and dashboards (headcount, attrition, recruitment metrics) to support HR business partners.
  • Assist with administration related to payroll, benefits enquiries and contractual documentation under HR supervision.
  • Organize internal trainings, meetings and employee engagement initiatives; manage logistics and participant communications.
  • Contribute to ad‑hoc HR projects and process improvement initiatives to increase operational efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Enrolled in or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or related field.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with professional command of Italian and good working knowledge of English preferred.
  • Highly organised, methodical and capable of handling confidential information with discretion.
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail and a proactive approach to completing administrative tasks.
  • Ability to multi‑task and work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams in a fast‑paced luxury environment.

Experience
