Chanel — Neuilly-sur-Seine: HR Assistant (Apprenticeship) for the Perfumes & Beauty division, starting Sept 2026.

Overview

Role & Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the HR team of the Perfumes & Beauty division, including file management and maintenance of confidential employee records.
  • Support recruitment activities: post job adverts, pre-screen candidates, schedule interviews and coordinate communication with applicants and hiring managers.
  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring new hires receive required documentation, induction schedules and access to systems.
  • Coordinate training logistics and learning initiatives, track participation and maintain training records.
  • Prepare routine HR reporting and basic metrics; assist in ad hoc HR projects and process improvement initiatives.
  • Liaise with payroll, social affairs and external partners as required to support contract administration and statutory compliance.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a recognised Bachelor's or Master's programme in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related discipline (alternance/apprenticeship agreement required).
  • Strong organisational skills with a meticulous attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, discretion and proven ability to handle confidential information.
  • Good command of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and basic aptitude for HRIS tools.
  • Interest in the luxury and beauty sector; proactive attitude and a collaborative mindset.

Experience

Ideally 6–12 months of prior internship or part-time experience in HR administration, recruitment or office support; experience within retail, beauty or luxury environments is an advantage.

Education

Enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's programme in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (alternance/apprenticeship required).
