Chanel in Singapore seeks a High‑End Merchandising Manager (Watches & Fine Jewelry) to lead regional merchandising for SEAA & SG.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the merchandising strategy for high‑end Watches & Fine Jewelry across the SEAA & Singapore markets, aligning assortment, pricing and allocation with business objectives.
  • Own seasonal range planning, product assortment, stock allocation and replenishment to optimise sell‑through, margin and inventory turn.
  • Develop financial forecasts, set commercial targets and monitor P&L drivers and retail KPIs to inform buying and promotional decisions.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with buying, marketing, retail operations, wholesale and visual merchandising to ensure cohesive go‑to‑market plans and flawless product launches.
  • Analyse sales performance and market trends to identify opportunities for assortment rationalisation, newness cadence and localized merchandising adaptations.
  • Manage relationships with external partners and internal stakeholders to secure on‑time delivery, quality standards and commercial terms.
  • Coach and support retail and wholesale teams on product storytelling, client‑facing positioning and merchandising execution to uphold brand standards.

Qualifications

  • Proven expertise in luxury merchandising, ideally within Watches & Fine Jewelry or adjacent high‑jewellery categories.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience in assortment planning, inventory management and margin optimisation.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional projects and influence senior stakeholders across retail, wholesale and marketing.
  • Excellent analytical skills and experience using sales and inventory data to drive decisions.
  • Outstanding communication skills and a client‑centric mindset suitable for a luxury environment.

Experience

Minimum of 5–8 years of progressive merchandising or buying experience within the luxury sector, with demonstrated regional responsibility and commercial results; direct experience with Watches & Fine Jewelry is strongly preferred.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Fashion, Marketing, or a related discipline; advanced degree or specialised training in luxury merchandising is advantageous.
