Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the boutique's high-end watches and fine jewelry business to achieve and exceed sales, margin and client acquisition targets.
  • Own the client development strategy for HNW and UHNW customers, including bespoke clienteling, private appointments and relationship management.
  • Manage boutique merchandising and assortment planning for timepieces and jewellery, ensuring product presentation meets Chanel's visual and luxury standards.
  • Coach, recruit and mentor a specialist sales team, setting KPIs, running regular training on product knowledge (haute horlogerie and high jewellery) and service rituals.
  • Oversee inventory control, stock allocation and loss-prevention procedures for high-value pieces, liaising with regional supply chain and compliance teams.
  • Plan and execute client events, product launches and trunk shows in coordination with regional marketing and PR to maximize brand exposure and sales conversion.
  • Drive accurate sales forecasting, reporting and analysis; present business reviews to regional management and recommend commercial actions.
  • Ensure adherence to brand policies, local regulations and after-sales service standards, including authentication and warranty handling.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record in luxury retail management with specific experience in watches and/or fine jewelry (preferably haute horlogerie/high jewellery).
  • Demonstrable success in developing HNW/UHNW client relationships and securing high-value transactions.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience recruiting, coaching and developing specialist sales teams.
  • Excellent commercial acumen, with ability to manage inventories, margins and boutique P&L responsibilities.
  • Fluent business communication skills and professional presentation appropriate for luxury clientele; readiness to travel locally for events and client visits.

Experience

Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in luxury retail with responsibility for watches and/or fine jewelry; prior management of a boutique or regional sales team and a proven record of acquiring and retaining high-net-worth clients.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Business, Luxury Brand Management, Retail Management or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in the luxury sector.
