Role & Responsibilities

  • Own end‑to‑end delivery of the ORION POS programme across North Asia and South‑East Asia & Australasia (SEAA): define scope, roadmap, governance and success metrics.
  • Coordinate cross‑functional stakeholders (retail ops, IT, merchandising, finance, HR, legal and field leadership) to align business requirements, timelines and deployment sequencing.
  • Manage external vendors and systems integrators: negotiate contracts, manage SLAs, monitor deliverables and enforce quality standards.
  • Lead programme planning, resource allocation, risk‑management, budget control and change requests; report progress to regional leadership and global sponsors.
  • Oversee data migration, reconciliation, testing (UAT), go‑live readiness and post‑launch hypercare including incident escalation procedures.
  • Design and implement training, enablement and adoption strategies for store teams and operations managers; develop playbooks and knowledge transfer.
  • Define performance reporting, KPIs and continuous improvement initiatives to optimise POS reliability, client experience and retail productivity.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science or a related discipline; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven experience leading large‑scale POS or retail systems implementations across multiple countries in the Asia Pacific region.
  • Demonstrable competence in programme governance, vendor management and cross‑border stakeholder engagement at senior levels.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience managing programme budgets and negotiating supplier contracts.
  • Excellent communication skills, fluent in English; additional regional languages an advantage.

Experience

Extensive regional experience (typically 8+ years) delivering complex retail technology programmes or POS transformations, with a track record of successful multi‑country rollouts in North Asia and South‑East Asia / Australasia.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science or a related field; MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
