Role & Responsibilities

  • Oversee all cash operations for the boutique, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company cash-handling policies.
  • Supervise and schedule the cash team, providing coaching, performance feedback and on-the-job training.
  • Conduct daily cash reconciliations, prepare deposits and ensure timely handover to finance as required.
  • Manage point-of-sale (POS) procedures, refunds and exchanges while safeguarding loss-prevention controls.
  • Prepare and submit accurate cash reports and exception logs to store leadership and central finance.
  • Coordinate with store management to support client service standards during peak periods and special events.
  • Lead internal audits and implement corrective actions following discrepancies or process reviews.
  • Maintain register integrity, oversee float management and ensure safekeeping of high-value transaction records.

Qualifications

  • Proven integrity and strong numeracy with meticulous attention to detail in cash handling.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability with experience supervising frontline retail staff.
  • Thorough knowledge of cash control procedures, POS transactions and reconciliation processes.
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to work under pressure during peak retail periods.
  • Discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive financial information and VIP clientele.
  • French fluency required; professional working knowledge of English preferred.

Experience
