Chanel is hiring a Fragrance Specialist in Mexico City — provide luxury perfume consultation, drive boutique sales and uphold Chanel boutique standards.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver personalized, consultative fragrance recommendations and an elevated client experience consistent with Chanel standards.
  • Develop and maintain client relationships through proactive clienteling, follow-ups and management of a client database to drive repeat sales.
  • Achieve and exceed individual and boutique perfume sales targets and KPIs.
  • Maintain up-to-date product and olfactory knowledge; present product storytelling that communicates ingredients, accords and brand heritage.
  • Execute visual merchandising, boutique presentation and sample placement to uphold brand aesthetics.
  • Manage stock, samples and point-of-sale transactions accurately; support inventory counts, replenishment and loss-prevention procedures.
  • Participate in brand training, product launches, promotional events and local marketing initiatives as required.

Qualifications

  • Secondary education required; vocational qualification in beauty, cosmetics or a related field preferred.
  • Proven retail sales experience in beauty, fragrance or luxury retail; typically 1+ years preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and consultative selling skills with a demonstrated ability to convert and retain clients.
  • High standards of personal presentation, professionalism and alignment with luxury brand values.
  • Flexibility to work retail hours, including evenings, weekends and peak trading periods.

Experience

At least one year of direct retail experience in beauty, fragrance or luxury goods is preferred; prior experience representing a prestige or designer beauty brand is advantageous.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in cosmetology/beauty preferred.
