Chanel — Internship: Fragrance & Beauty Sales Operation in Tokyo. Support sales operations, reporting and boutique coordination for the Beauty division.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Support daily sales operations for the Fragrance & Beauty division in Tokyo, including order entry, invoicing follow-up and coordination with distribution partners.
  • Prepare and analyse sales reports and KPIs to inform regional performance reviews and merchandising decisions.
  • Reconcile inventory and sales data between boutiques, warehouse and central systems; investigate and resolve discrepancies.
  • Assist with CRM updates and customer data hygiene to support boutique teams and clienteling activities.
  • Coordinate cross‑functional requests with marketing, merchandising and logistics to ensure timely product launches and promotional execution.
  • Produce concise presentations and summaries for commercial meetings, using Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Contribute to process-improvement initiatives to streamline retail operations and reporting workflows.
  • Provide ad hoc administrative support to the sales operations team and boutique network as required.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance or a related discipline.
  • Strong analytical aptitude with demonstrable Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, basic formulas).
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional discretion and respect for brand standards when handling sensitive commercial and client information.
  • Proactive communicator with the capacity to work collaboratively across commercial, marketing and retail teams.

Experience

Suitable candidates will typically have limited professional experience — internships or part‑time roles in retail, beauty, luxury or commercial operations are advantageous. Hands‑on exposure to sales reporting, inventory reconciliation or CRM support is a plus.

Education

Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelor's program in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance or a related field.
