Chanel seeks a Fixed Term Fragrance & Beauty Sales Consultant for Harrods Knightsbridge, London — deliver luxury client service and drive sales on the beauty counter.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver personalised, high‑touch client experiences at the Harrods Knightsbridge Chanel counter, demonstrating expert product knowledge across fragrances and cosmetics.
  • Meet and exceed individual sales targets and KPIs through consultative selling, upselling and sustained clienteling.
  • Conduct professional product demonstrations, fragrance consultations and make‑up applications while maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and presentation.
  • Manage stock levels, merchandising and replenishment to maintain flawless counter displays in line with Chanel visual standards.
  • Operate point‑of‑sale systems accurately, process transactions and manage returns/exchanges in accordance with brand and store procedures.
  • Participate in promotional events, product launches and in‑store masterclasses to amplify brand presence and drive acquisition.
  • Maintain client records and follow up on appointments, samples and service‑led sales to cultivate long‑term relationships.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in luxury beauty or fragrance retail, ideally within an upscale department store environment.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a demonstrable aptitude for consultative selling and client relationship management.
  • Strong appreciation for luxury service standards, attention to detail and immaculate personal presentation.
  • Ability to work retail hours including evenings, weekends and peak seasonal periods; legal right to work in the UK.

Experience

Secondary education; vocational or beauty qualifications (e.g., NVQ/Level 2 in Beauty Therapy or equivalent) are advantageous but not mandatory.
