Fragrance & Beauty Manager
Chanel seeks a Fragrance & Beauty Manager in Hangzhou to lead the boutique counter, drive sales and deliver luxury client experiences.

Role & Responsibilities
- Lead daily operations of the fragrance and beauty counter, ensuring flawless execution of Chanel retail standards and visual merchandising guidelines.
- Drive sales performance and KPIs through proactive clienteling, bespoke consultations and targeted selling strategies for fragrance and makeup lines.
- Recruit, train and coach counter staff; create development plans and conduct regular performance reviews to uplift product knowledge and service skills.
- Deliver high-touch client experiences for VIPs and walk-in customers, including personalised fragrance profiling and makeup application.
- Manage inventory, stock replenishment and point-of-sale processes to maintain availability, shrinkage control and accurate reporting.
- Implement promotional and launch activities in coordination with regional marketing and retail teams; ensure merchandising and sampling are executed to brand standards.
- Oversee administrative duties including shift rosters, cash handling reconciliation and compliance with company policies and local regulations.
- Act as liaison with regional management, supply chain and training teams to communicate store needs and optimise commercial opportunities.
Qualifications
- Proven track record in luxury beauty retail with demonstrable sales results and KPI achievement.
- Prior supervisory or managerial experience leading small teams in a retail or counter environment.
- Exceptional clienteling and interpersonal skills with a refined service ethos appropriate to a maison like Chanel.
- Strong product knowledge across fragrance, skincare and colour cosmetics; ability to deliver personalised consultations and makeup services.
- Ability to analyse sales data and translate insights into actionable plans for the counter.
- Flexible availability to cover retail hours, peak trading days and promotional events.
Skills
Experience
Minimum three years in luxury beauty retail, including at least one to two years in a supervisory or managerial role responsible for driving sales and developing a team.
Education
Bachelor's degree or equivalent education/experience preferred; vocational qualification in beauty/makeup or retail management is an advantage.
