Chanel seeks a Fragrance & Beauty Counter Manager in Ningbo to lead boutique sales, clienteling and team performance.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead daily operations of the fragrance and beauty counter, ensuring flawless execution of Chanel merchandising and visual standards.
  • Drive sales performance and achieve revenue, conversion and average-transaction KPIs through coaching, clienteling and targeted selling strategies.
  • Build and sustain long-term client relationships through personalised service, follow-up and appointment management.
  • Recruit, train and develop counter staff; deliver product and service training to elevate team expertise in fragrances, skincare and makeup.
  • Manage inventory, stock replenishment and loss-prevention procedures in coordination with regional retail operations.
  • Plan and execute in-store events and bespoke client experiences to enhance brand presence and loyalty.
  • Monitor sales reporting and forecast demand; implement corrective actions to optimise counter performance.
  • Ensure compliance with brand policies, local regulations and health & safety standards.

Qualifications

  • Proven managerial experience in luxury beauty or cosmetics retail (counter or boutique) with responsibility for a sales team.
  • Demonstrable track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets and KPIs in a high-end retail environment.
  • Strong leadership and coaching capabilities with experience recruiting, developing and motivating frontline staff.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to deliver personalised, discreet service to high-value clients.
  • Solid organisational skills including inventory control, visual merchandising execution and basic P&L awareness.

Experience
