Fragrance & Beauty City Manager
Chanel is hiring a Fragrance & Beauty City Manager in Nanjing — lead multi‑store beauty operations, P&L and client experience for the brand.

Role & Responsibilities
- Own city-level P&L and sales targets for the fragrance and beauty portfolio; define and deliver strategies to achieve and exceed revenue, margin and traffic KPIs.
- Lead, coach and develop store managers and beauty teams across the city to ensure consistent execution of selling standards, clienteling and visual merchandising.
- Implement product launches, promotional initiatives and in-store events in close coordination with regional marketing and merchandising teams.
- Drive client acquisition, retention and CRM activity to maximise lifetime value and cultivate high-net-worth clientele through personalised service and bespoke experiences.
- Ensure inventory integrity, stock replenishment and shrink control by enforcing operational standards and partnering with supply chain and retail operations.
- Translate global brand directives into local retail execution while ensuring compliance with brand policies, visual guidelines and legal/regulatory requirements.
- Analyse sales performance and market trends to produce actionable insights and adapt assortment, staffing and promotional plans accordingly.
- Represent the brand externally with professionalism at trade, press and client events and internally as the voice of local stores to regional leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, retail management or a related discipline; equivalent professional experience accepted.
- Proven track record of progressive responsibility in luxury beauty or cosmetics retail, including multi-store or city-level management.
- Demonstrated capability in P&L management, forecasting and delivering sustained sales growth in a premium retail environment.
- Strong people leadership with experience recruiting, developing and retaining high-performing sales teams.
- Excellent commercial acumen, analytical ability and experience using sales and CRM metrics to drive decisions.
- Fluency in Mandarin is required; professional proficiency in English highly desirable.

Experience
Typically 5+ years in beauty or luxury retail, including at least 2 years managing multiple stores or holding a city/district leadership role with P&L responsibility and experience executing brand initiatives locally.
Education
Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent professional experience in luxury retail accepted.
