Chanel in Chongqing seeks a Fragrance & Beauty Boutique Manager to lead luxury beauty sales, team development and boutique operations.

Overview

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead daily boutique/counter operations to deliver an exceptional luxury client experience and uphold Chanel brand standards.
  • Drive sales performance and achieve or exceed commercial targets through effective merchandising, clienteling and promotional execution.
  • Recruit, coach and develop a high-performing sales team; implement training to deepen product knowledge in fragrance and beauty.
  • Manage inventory, stock replenishment and shrinkage controls; ensure accurate merchandising, visual presentation and housekeeping.
  • Oversee scheduling, payroll controls and administrative reporting; monitor KPIs and produce regular sales and activity reports for regional management.
  • Coordinate product launches, marketing initiatives and in-store events in partnership with regional/area teams.
  • Ensure compliance with operating procedures, health & safety and luxury retail service protocols, including after-sales and client confidentiality.

Qualifications

  • Proven commercial leadership within luxury retail, ideally within fragrance, cosmetics or beauty categories.
  • Demonstrable track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets and managing P&L-related objectives at store or counter level.
  • Strong people-management skills with experience recruiting, coaching and performance-managing front-line teams.
  • Excellent organisational skills with attention to visual merchandising, stock control and operational detail.
  • Professional demeanour, client-focused service orientation and ability to maintain brand standards under pressure.

Experience

Typically requires 3–5 years of progressive experience in luxury beauty or fragrance retail, including at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity with responsibility for sales performance and team leadership.

Education

High school diploma required; tertiary qualification in business, retail management, cosmetics or a related discipline preferred.
