Chanel is hiring a Fragrance & Beauty Area Sales Manager in Zhengzhou to lead multi‑unit sales and retail teams for the beauty category.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Define and execute sales strategies to achieve monthly and annual revenue targets across the assigned territory for fragrance and beauty categories.
  • Lead, coach and develop multi‑unit store teams and boutique managers to optimise conversion, average transaction value and client retention.
  • Drive clienteling initiatives and CRM usage to cultivate high‑value clients and enhance repeat purchase rates.
  • Monitor and analyse sales KPIs, market trends and competitive activity; produce actionable reports and forecasts for regional leadership.
  • Ensure consistent application of brand standards, merchandising directives and product launches across stores within the area.
  • Manage stock flow and inventory performance with a focus on sell‑through, replenishment and seasonal assortment alignment.
  • Coordinate cross‑functional liaison with marketing, visual merchandising and supply chain to execute local activations and promotional calendars.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record in luxury beauty or fragrance retail with responsibility for multiple stores or a sales territory.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in recruiting, developing and motivating retail teams to achieve commercial objectives.
  • Strong analytical aptitude with experience managing sales KPIs, forecasts and P&L drivers.
  • Professional presentation and the ability to represent a luxury brand at client events and trade meetings.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional qualification preferred.

Experience

Typically 5+ years of progressive experience in luxury retail, with at least 2 years managing multi‑unit operations or an equivalent regional sales remit within fragrance or beauty.

Bachelor’s degree preferred (business, marketing or related discipline) or equivalent professional experience.
