Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver personalized fragrance and skincare consultations, tailoring recommendations to individual client needs and preferences.
  • Drive retail performance through achievement of sales targets, conversion and average transaction value metrics.
  • Provide make-up application and product demonstrations to educate clients and promote sampling and trial.
  • Build and maintain a curated client portfolio through proactive clienteling, follow-up outreach and appointment management.
  • Ensure immaculate visual merchandising and product presentation in accordance with Chanel brand guidelines.
  • Execute transactions, returns and gift-wrap services using the point-of-sale system while maintaining accurate sales records.
  • Support inventory control, stock replenishment and receiving activities; participate in stocktakes as required.
  • Adhere to hygiene, regulatory and sampling protocols specific to fragrance and cosmetics.

Qualifications

  • Proven retail sales experience in prestige beauty or luxury cosmetics, ideally within a high-end brand environment.
  • Demonstrable track record of achieving sales targets and cultivating repeat clients.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a polished, client-focused demeanour.
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and peak seasonal periods.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Experience

Typically 1–3 years of direct retail experience in prestige beauty, luxury cosmetics or high-end fragrance sales, with demonstrated client development and measurable sales results.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent; cosmetology or aesthetics certification preferred but not required.
