Role & Responsibilities

  • Support day‑to‑day footwear quality control activities across pre‑production, in‑line and final inspection stages.
  • Inspect prototypes and production samples for fit, materials, construction and finishing; document non‑conformities and deviations.
  • Assist in root‑cause analysis and follow up on corrective actions with internal teams and external suppliers.
  • Maintain and update quality documentation, inspection reports and technical dossiers in compliance with internal standards.
  • Coordinate sample flows and communication between design, development, production and external workshops.
  • Contribute to quality improvement projects, testing coordination and preparation for supplier audits.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a university programme in industrial engineering, materials science, footwear design, fashion technology or a related discipline.
  • Keen attention to detail with the ability to interpret technical drawings, construction specifications and quality standards.
  • Strong organisational skills and the capacity to manage multiple sample flows and documentation requirements.
  • Effective communicator in cross‑functional teams; professional manner when liaising with suppliers and workshops.
  • Availability for occasional travel to external suppliers or production sites (national or regional).

Experience

No minimum professional experience required; prior internships or hands‑on exposure to footwear, leather goods or manufacturing quality processes are advantageous. Candidates should be comfortable visiting supplier workshops and participating in production floor activities.

Education

University enrolment or recent degree in industrial engineering, materials science, footwear/footwear technology, fashion technology or a related field.
