Chanel is hiring a Fitting Tailor in Dubai — perform couture fittings, bespoke alterations and client appointments for the maison.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Conduct precise client fittings and measurements for couture and ready‑to‑wear garments, ensuring impeccable fit and finish.
  • Execute high‑precision alterations and hand‑finishing techniques in line with maison standards, preserving original construction and design intent.
  • Collaborate closely with the in‑house atelier, sales advisors and production teams to coordinate timelines, fittings and garment deliveries.
  • Maintain accurate measurement and alteration records for clients and store them confidentially.
  • Perform quality control checks on finished garments and advise on final adjustments prior to client handover.
  • Provide discreet, client‑facing service and fit guidance during appointments, tailoring recommendations to client needs and occasions.
  • Manage workshop tools and materials, ensuring fabrics and trims are handled and stored to couture standards.

Qualifications

  • Professional tailoring qualification or completed apprenticeship in tailoring/garment construction, or equivalent demonstrable experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of couture construction techniques and hand‑sewing methods.
  • Exceptional manual dexterity, attention to detail and a proven ability to reproduce designer finishes.
  • Proven ability to manage bespoke fittings and multiple client appointments with discretion and professionalism.
  • Familiarity with a broad range of luxury fabrics, linings and garment types (eveningwear, outerwear, knitwear).

Experience
