Role & Responsibilities

  • Ensure each garment is perfectly fitted, maintaining the integrity of the piece while accommodating the client's body shape.
  • Analyze garment cuts and propose tailored adjustments using expertise from the École de la Retouche.
  • Execute precise measuring, sewing, and control techniques, including CHANEL Flat Pinning and Ribbon techniques.
  • Build trust with clients through active listening and understanding their needs, enhancing client loyalty.
  • Collaborate with Fashion Advisors to deliver a seamless and memorable fitting experience.
  • Stay informed about competitors' collections and recognize key pieces to enhance CHANEL's tailoring offerings.
  • Manage end-to-end alteration services, ensuring a memorable client experience.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the CHANEL&moi RTW program through insights and expertise sharing.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in tailoring within a luxury fashion environment.
  • Deep understanding of CHANEL’s brand values and stylistic codes.

Skills

Technical mastery in tailoring and alterations. Strong client-centric approach with excellent communication skills. Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with boutique teams. Organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Experience

Proven experience in tailoring within a luxury fashion environment is required.
