Role & Responsibilities

  • Ensure each garment is perfectly fitted, maintaining the integrity of the piece while adapting to the client's body shape.
  • Collaborate closely with Fashion Advisors to deliver a seamless fitting experience.
  • Analyze garment cuts and propose tailored adjustments using exclusive techniques from the École de la Retouche.
  • Build and maintain a relationship of trust with clients, demonstrating active listening and attention to their needs.
  • Communicate proactively with the team to ensure a seamless alteration experience.
  • Manage end-to-end alteration services, enhancing the Chanel&moi ready-to-wear commitment.
  • Contribute to the understanding and preservation of Chanel’s tailoring craftsmanship by sharing expertise with boutique teams and apprentices.

Qualifications

  • Proven expertise in tailoring, specifically within luxury fashion.
  • Strong understanding of garment construction and alteration techniques.

Skills

Technical mastery in tailoring and alterations. Client-centric approach with excellent communication skills. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks autonomously. Digital proficiency to manage atelier KPIs and streamline workflows.

Experience

Extensive experience in tailoring within a luxury fashion environment is required.

Education

Formal training in tailoring or fashion design is preferred.
