Financial Controller

Role & Responsibilities
- Oversee the Profit & Loss construction and manage all financial cycles including Budget, Quarterly Forecasts, Monthly Forecasts, and Multi-Year Plans, ensuring precision and timely reporting.
- Cultivate strong relationships with the BenSca Fragrance & Beauty Management team and their departments such as Retail, Wholesale, Marketing, Learning, and Operations.
- Forecast and monitor Advertising, Promotion & Demonstration costs, and Boutique Expenses, while proactively communicating risks and opportunities.
- Lead financial closing cycles in collaboration with accounting and other teams, ensuring reliable and timely data in information systems.
- Analyze variances between forecasts and actuals, providing insights to Management for informed decision-making.
- Analyze sales data and profitability by Point of Sale, highlighting key levers to the Head of FP&A and Management team.
- Build CAPEX requests for new, relocated, or renovated Points of Sale.
- Prepare budget, strategic, and ad hoc presentations for Top Management with the Head of FP&A and CFO.
- Conduct ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as required.
- Support the implementation of Global, European, and Local IT projects and initiatives, including pilot initiatives.
- Participate actively in Local and European automation and simplification projects to improve efficiency and reduce manual tasks.
- Identify process improvement opportunities, prioritize automation and simplification efforts, and ensure adequate training for users.
- Collaborate across departments to develop and embed new financial tools.
- Act as a business partner to retail teams on finance and stock operation matters; plan and lead annual stock counts.
- Serve as a key contact for Local and European Retail Procedures, ensuring understanding and application by retail teams.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Management.
- 7-10 years of successful experience in FP&A or Financial Controlling.
- Demonstrated experience as a trusted Finance Business Partner.
- Previous experience working with wholesale distribution channels, preferably in the luxury retail or FMCG industries.
